The Marula Tree
The Marula tree (Sclerocarya birrea) has been an important part of African culture and tradition for centuries. In Namibia, it is revered by indigenous communities, and its fruits are valued for their exceptional properties.
These majestic trees can grow up to 15 meters tall and survive even extreme dry periods thanks to their deep roots. Their resilience makes them a symbol of strength and endurance in the African landscape.

Sustainable Sourcing
The processing of marula nuts is traditionally carried out by women from local communities. They collect the fruit, crack the hard shells, and extract the precious kernels.
This work is not only a cultural heritage but also an important source of income. MY MARULA works directly with these women's cooperatives and pays fair prices.
This not only ensures the highest quality but also supports the local people and preserves the valuable marula trees for future generations.
